AT HOME SAFE AND SOUND

We left Galway at 12 pm. The coach picked us up at Glássan  and nobody of us had slept. We arrived at the airport at 3 am and it was like a desert. only two passengers were sleeping uncomfortably. All the shops were closed and we sat waiting  for the checking desk to open.
At 4.30 am we checked in our luggage and none of us had problems with the weight despite being afraid of exceeding the allowed limit we had.
At 6,00 the plane took off  and some of us could sleep for a while but not much because it was freezing in the plane. We put in our jackets, sweaters and scarves, but our noses and feet were uncovered and still felt cold.

Finally we landed at 9.20. No problems with the luggage so we were willing to meet our families.
Everybody was happy, hugs and kisses everywhere.

We just want to thank all that people who have helped us to enjoy these days in Ireland, Galway and GMIT. We have spent  wonderful days there and we have learned a lot of things, we have met a lot of friends and we hope to repeat it again maybe next year!!!

LAST DAY IN THE CLIFFS OF MOHER

Today we’ve woken at 8 a.m. We’ve had breakfast in our own apartments and we have met with our group leaders at 8:40 a.m at the meeting point. Then, we’ve taken a coach to go to the Cliffs of Moher. When we have arrived, we’ve gone to the shop and we’ve bought there our lunch because we don’t like the ones that the canteen prepares, and we’ve also bought souvenirs. After that we’ve gone to an exhibition and we’ve watched a video about the Cliffs.

Then we’ve walked in groups along the paths of the cliffs. The Cliffs of Moher’s landscape is amazing. There we’ve had lunch and we have returned to the coach. After this trip we’ve gone to a village called Cooling where we’ve had some time to wander along the village and we have also eaten some ice creams and milkshakes. On our way to Galway we have stopped at the Burren, we have taken some pictures and enjoyed the beauty of the place.  Then we’ve retuned to Glasan Village and we’ve finished packing our luggage.

We all are a bit moody because our friends have already left and because we are leaving today, but we are sure we’ll never forget this wonderful experience.

CONGRATULATIONS

Today we have had our last lessons. At 12:00 am, the staff have given us our certificates,  one about our English level and another about our talents and workshops done. 

At 14:00 pm, we have caught the bus to go to Galway and we have visited Galway City  Museum. Then, the teachers have given us some free time to wander and we have gone shopping. 

After that, we did karaoke and disco. There were six teams in the karaoke competition, all of them sang very well.  The winners of karaoke have been Team 1.  Anna, Carla, Maria , Marina and Vicky. Congratulations little ladies!

We have danced a lot of different songs too. The disco finished at 9 and finally we said goodbye to our Canarian friends. Now we are very nervous about our return trip to Terrassa ..

MAD FASHION AND GAELIC FOOTBALL

Today in the morning we did lessons as everyday, they have been very funny because we have played games in English and we have done some writing of things we like about Ireland. Then we have had lunch, like every day we have eaten pasta and potatoes too.

In the afternoon we did a workshop about Mad Fashion, it consisted in making dresses with plastic bags and decorating them with some materials. When we were ready, we did a catwalk and choose the best dresses, the winners got a prize and the models got chocolates too. 

The evening activities have been very funny because we did some sports like soccer, rounders and gaelic football. We have learned the rules of  gaelic football.  Sílvia says that when she kicks the ball she falls on her back.

Now back to our apartments, we'll have a shower and go to sleep.
